My name is Theodore Vairaktaris, and I wear many hats: entrepreneur, philanthropist, TEDx speaker, artist, husband and father.As the Managing Director of the Usher Group, one of Australia’s leading painting companies, I've been fortunate to establish a solid reputation within the construction industry.I also serve as a Director for over nine companies, including Taris Property Group, Paint Projex, Washbox Global, SunnyDays Distillery, The Man Hotel, Baxta Coatings, Youthh Clothing, and Space Yoga. Through these roles, I lead and mentor some of Australia’s leading and fastest-growing businesses.In 2020, I founded the Usher Cup World Club Challenge, a global Boardriders Club surfing event that brings together clubs from the USA, Japan, Indonesia, Hawaii, and New Zealand, promoting amateur surfing through my industry network.These endeavors have been a journey of growth and learning, earning recognitions such as the 2014 Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year QLD winner and Australian National finalist.My TEDx talk on the Top 12 Pillars to an Epic Culture has resonated with many, garnering over 500k views globally. I continue to lead, mentor, and grow my businesses with passion.Above all, I cherish my time with my wife raising our two children, and with mates surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding.My commitment to the local community and philanthropy is a driving force in my life, as I strive to support causes close to my heart.As I experience more, I learn more, I grow more and continue to imagine the future versions of my myself and my businesses, I find myself more motivated, energetic and optimistic than ever.
