My mission is to make digital marketing easy to understand and to help you to generate the business results you want.I've been working in marketing communications for 20 years, and I've been an independent digital marketing consultant since 2014. This has given me the dual benefits of experience and business nous, and my focus is on devising strategic campaigns and delivering tactical activities to meet defined business goals and create a financial return on investment. I'm a huge believer in relevance rather than follower numbers, so if you just want to increase your followers, I'm probably not the person for you. Soz.Since setting up independently I've worked with a diverse range of consumer, B2B and not-for-profit organisations, including: Honda, McDonald's, AXA, Macmillan, Panasonic, Greene King, Tarmac, Bristol Water and Oxford University Press. But while those are huge organisations, I also work with SMEs and start ups.I also produce a popular weekly podcast that focuses on all aspects of digital communications called Digital Download, and an annual conference of the same name.
