Prior to The Pitek Group LLC, he had founded and ran The Performance Group LLC from 1984-2008. Having worked on four continents, he’s delivered programs in a variety of contexts developing skills, nurturing confidence and coaching people to rediscover their potential. Pitek has served as an adjunct instructor in Cornell University’s Management Development Programs in New York City where he conducted Creativity and Innovation sessions. He’s certified in a variety of instruments including Emotional Intelligence, CentACS WorkPlace Big Five assessment, the Center for Creative leadership 360 assessment suite, the VIA Character Assessment, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). He most recently became certified in the Bates ExPI™(Executive Presence Index), the first research-based assessment to measure executive presence and influence in leaders. Responsible for the administrative, development and financial components of the equity regional theatre located in Buffalo, NY. In 1982, Pitek created the city-wide event, Curtain Up!. This event celebrated the opening of Buffalo's Theatre District and established a cultural, marketing event that has been produced consecutively since its initial event.
