Been working on various subsystems of AMDs Graphics GPU Architectures and systems. Performance modelling, analysis and feature development for Ray Tracing products and workloads. Passionate about Computer Architecture, GPUs and Compute Hardware. My Masters Plan of Work is around Computer Architecture and Graphics Hardware. I've undertaken projects which try to simulate architectural features and try to profile/understand performance bottlenecks. Over the summer of 2020 I have tried to understand/optimize openCL code for FPGAs which is probably going to be a problem in heterogenous systems involving GPUs and FPGAs. I have designed my work to also include courses in system level concepts like OS and Compiler Design to understand the whole Computer Architecture stack. Having an overall understanding of the whole stack is essential in this field, I believe. I have a little bit of openGL/webGL experience and an understanding of the workflows of 3D computer graphics pipelines. As part of coursework I've written programs related to rayCasting, pathTracing and Culling techniques. As part of my internship with AMD, I work on modelling architectural features in the shader block. I have 3 years experience in Digital Design, Simulation, Synthesis, Implementation and STA of FPGAs. Testing and Scripting. Apart from that, recently, I worked on a ASIC Design project trying to implement an accumulator for mixed precision computation. I would say that I'm skilled in RTL design and synthesis.I am really excited to see how the market evolves to cater to the AI/DL demands. I would really love to work towards developing that tech.
