I provide pond and lake management services to private landowners throughout Oklahoma. Many ponds are experiencing problems associated with "eutrophication" which is the overload of nutrients. These nutrients create problems with algae or "moss" and aquatic vegetation, that result in reduced aesthetics, usefulness, and health of the system. As an aquatic ecologist, I focus on full ecosystem management and focus on restoration efforts, that use mechanical and biological strategies and avoid overuse of chemicals. I am one of the few entities in Oklahoma that is permitted through the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, to have a legal electrofishing boat. This boat allows us to quickly and easily assess a fishery in order to create customized management recommendations to achieve the desired results.
