My main areas of work include creating dashboards and reports in Excel, identifying the data sources, extracting data out of systems which helps address the business problem at hand. My job responsibilities predominantly involves creating various reports on excel, but given the problems at hand, I do also work with power Query and power BI to design reports that are scalable and insightful. Responsibilities include:- Simplifying existing reports and creating new reports on a requirement basis.- Commencing ETL process for the data extracted through ERP system, cleaning the data in a ready to process and analyze state through Power Query- Providing Quality assurance of imported Data sets- Identifying sources of data for analyzing data for the problems identified by the corporate team, and analyzing the data thereby providing them with the solutions.- Ad-hoc reportingAchievements- Helped in resolving business problems on two events where the Pilot's lives could be made easier which involved analyzing huge chunk of data consisting of multiple parameters and calculations involving multiple factors. - Created Dashboards using Power BI for other teams within the departments thereby reducing the need to refer to the monthly excel files, quick look at the analysis and diving deep into problem areas and addressing them.
