The Synchronoss Project will replace existing Charter applications such as Business Rules Engine (BRE/BizTalk) and ReCom by building upon or interfacing with the Synchronoss ConvergenceNow Platform. The proposed system will support the end to end customer experience from the time a Charter customer transacts with the Order Buy Flow to the time the Order enters the Charter’s billing and provisioning systems. As a System Business Analyst, I am documenting the functional requirements for the Order Automation process that is handled by the BRE system within Charter System as well as also describe the role of ReCom (Retail ecommerce System) and BRE(Business Rule Engine) in the existing order automation process. The objective is to migrate to the current functionalities of the BRE system over to the ConvergenceNow ™ Platform in support of the order automation process. The proposed system will continue to interface with Charter’s EAI and OSS API through web services to communicate with other applications namely the billing and the provisioning system.

The results are consolidated file of information used to provide client with accurate information on shipments and to update the Dash Board performance reporting with various other aspects.
