Being a therapist is my privilege!With 14 years of experience in the field of Mental Health, I am glad the way I'm evolving as a private practioner. My client base is mainly individuals & couples in the age group of 18-45 & my core expertise includes working with a holistic & mindfulness approach towards anxiety, depression, sexual health, body image concerns, substance abuse, LGBTQI concerns and personality issues. My time at Chaitanya Mental Health Care Center, Pune as a residential Psychiatric Social Worker will always be my foundation. This place was much more than just a job and it was a beautiful experience working with a team of Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurses, Home nurses, Physician, fellow Psychiatric social workers and the support staff. It takes a village to rehabilitate a person with mental health illness & I will always be grateful for all the humanitarian learnings.Working with Priyadarshini Group of Institutions at my hometown Nagpur really helped me connect with adolescents & working with team of soft skill trainers helped me develop that sense of confidence for public speaking. Being a proud member of LGBT community, it feels good to connect with groups like All India Queer Association, where you can reach out for a affordable mental health care.It's good to witness that we as a society are slowly waking up to mental health care. Pandemic changed the nature of mental health profession too and physical boundaries are no longer relevant between mental health professionals and individuals.
