Strength in Unity is a research project under SFU Health Science Department to understand the impact of mental health stigma amongst Asian men of 17 years and above. It's a nation wide study that both Calgary and Toronto has research teams to support this project locally in their area as well. As part of the research team, Bessie co-facilitated Acceptance Commitment based workshops and Communicty Contact Based workshops in Chinese as interventions to find out the effectiveness of the program for reducing mental health stigma among Asian men, particulaly Chinese speaking men. Recruitment for Chinese speaking participants for the study.
