As a Marine I was responsible for managing up to 10 other Marines at a time and supervising all aspects of their training and their work. I also was responsible for all aircraft logbooks and the timely and correct recording of all aircraft maintenance documentation. I also oversaw all Naval Correspondence for the helicopter squadron and routinely conducted all administrative tasks associated with Naval Aviation documentation procedures. As a Staff Sergeant, I was also responsible for the general overall safety and welfare of each of the men under my direct supervision.
