Brad Mahon, MBA, PhD, has more than 25 years of experience in the post-secondary sector, having found success in the classroom, the boardroom, and engaging the community. As a leader in higher education, he is a passionate advocate for providing learners with a transformative educational experience and ensuring institutions are meaningfully engaged with the communities they serve. His administrative tenures have consistently prioritized collaboration and cooperation, including establishing strategic partnerships with other educational institutions, community organizations, and industry.Brad is President and CEO of Great Plains College, with six campuses proudly serving southwest and west central Saskatchewan, Canada. He also serves on Colleges and Institutes Canada’s Board of Directors. In 2022, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal, recognizing his service to the education sector.When no one is looking, Brad still regularly sneaks off campus to moonlight as a professional guitarist. He’s a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 547 and the Royal Conservatory of Music’s College of Examiners.
