The role of an Auxiliary Operator (AO) comprises all plant operations outside of the Control Room including the electrical switchyard, waste and water treatment, instrumentation, valve manipulations and system lineups as well as safety and security patrols throughout the entire facility.I was nominated and ultimately selected to attend Senior Reactor Operator's License Training because of my exemplary execution of those duties in a manner that was safe, professional and error-free...all while attending university to complete my nuclear engineering degree.
