Customer 1St Leader (Cfl)Westinghouse Electric Company Dec 2011 - Feb 2013Cranberry Township, Pa, UsWhile a member of the Continuous Improvement Department of Westinghouse Corporate Services, I utilized tools and principles of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Human Performance and Behavioral Differentiation to improve processes and products of mega-projects.My combination of operational, functional, project management and continuous improvement skills allowed me to attain a holistic perspective of ongoing efforts to quickly identify and correct key metrics limiting performance or contributing to the cost of poor quality. This approach enabled me to recover 17 weeks of critical path time on a technical development (first-of-a-kind) project in order to meet key project milestones thus allowing the business to take revenue recognition within the calendar year and meet its financial goals.Additionally, I completed improvement projects that resulted in corporate-wide changes to the execution of long-term service contracts that not only created new revenue streams (averaging $243,000/yr across eleven clients), but delivered significant benefit to the customer's ability to effectively budget and plan for equipment service outages that did not impact their production/generation schedule. -
