She was a volunteer backcountry ranger in Denali, Alaska, where she met her husband. When not in south Albuquerque, she can be found spending time at her place in Catron County, New Mexico stargazing or shooting her bow, and enjoys spending time hiking with her family and volunteering with dog rescue.
