My role at OpenWater is a dance between software support and establishing personal relationships. I interact daily with companies like The Smithsonian, Disney, and TED, as well as with school districts, journalists, and the U.S. Department of Defense.My job is to build a relationship with these companies, as well as to guide them in their mission of building and expanding their award programs from year to year. I communicate via e-mail, phone, and live video stream, to demonstrate the various functionalities of our product, while keeping the tone of the meeting akin to one between friends.My goal each day is to ensure that a minimal number of problems occur, but when they do, to make it so that interacting with me is something to look forward to. It is my job to create the feeling that everything is going to be all right; in establishing this rapport, I can better help to direct our clients through various sales funnels and connect them to the product and service upgrades that are right for their individual company.I'd like to think of my job like a professional best friend that happens to specialize in software.

My role at Overacity was to expose entrepreneurs and startups to what our vision was, and spark a dialogue between them and our company to find out what kind of hardware specifications the modern tech startup is utilizing.The goal was to connect pre-angel investor companies with an accessible and affordable way to jumpstart their tech ideas, and to grow our network of tech professionals which could later be acquired for our own developments.

Joykat was a content conglomerate of over two hundred different domains and themes. During my role here I wrote the largest ticket items across the site with 1,000,000+ view counts on individual articles. I also managed the other writing staff, and produced our editorial calendars that informed and directed where content would be moving and on which platforms.During this position I also worked very closely with the head of marketing to provide copy for the largest PPC and social marketing campaigns.I left JoyKat due to personal health concerns at the time.

During my time with Kone, I further developed the editorial content market, keeping Kone in business with customers long past the contract expiration - meaning that future web development work would default to Kone since we were active on their editorial contract.
