With a lifetime of dedicated service and experience, my mission is to facilitate healing and strengthen mental health support systems at the City of Albuquerque’s Center for Healing and Trauma Recovery. Our efforts focus on serving those affected by violent crime and trauma. My core competencies in caring for people and fostering psychological safety are instrumental in advancing the organization's mission. Through my work, I strive to embody our values of empathy, compassion, and resilience, bringing diverse perspectives that drive societal healing and recovery.Since March 2023, I have led Albuquerque’s Center for Healing and Trauma Recovery, an initiative aimed at healing communities by helping people heal themselves, one by one. This role has allowed me to leverage my skills in mental health care and trauma informed workplaces to create a supportive environment for victims of trauma and those who treat them. The impact of our work is evident in the growing community trust and the emerging establishment of a strong network of support for Albuquerque's most vulnerable residents.
