Initially worked on the video player UI and low level video player playback/streaming optimizations. We did some changes which led me to also doing a lot of work on the service that configures our video player. I have since rebuilt and brought that service to all YouTube's first party applications (the Android and iOS apps as well as *.youtube.com). I also enabled a similar rebuild for our other services as well. I am still working on growing these services while also improving the infrastructure for our APIs that enable all of YouTube's first party applications.

Designing and building accessible websites for businesses, schools, and individuals. Teaching and educating individuals on how web technology can improve everyday life. Interacted closely with clients from various industries while developing numerous websites.

Improved core video player performance, particularly in playlist context. Worked with a small team to enhance future Google TV interface for YouTube.

Developed back-end tools to provide additional editing functionality for content creators and providers. Enhanced functionality of a caching system to include "if-then" logic. Worked with creative team to update the website front-end. Created and updated advertisements and micro-sites.
