Reporting to Technical Director. Accountable for well monitoring and maintenance activities across all Petrofac Malaysia assets including PSC (PM304) and RSC (Berantai) managed projects. Responsible for delivery of well interventions including all related HSE functions (zero LTIs), Technical Authority for Well Integrity, short term forecasting, shortfall accounting, budget generation, determine contract strategy and contract management, process development, engineer competency assessment. Input to new business generation and near field appraisal activities. Initiate and review completion design changes. Focal point for stakeholder discussions.

Principal consultant supporting all well engineering aspects of LEAP Energy’s projects. These include conceptual well planning and design, well and completion concept selection and optimisation for a variety of projects Inc. clastics oil and gas, conventional and unconventional (including coal-bed methane).

Management function reporting directly to the Drilling Manager. Responsible for determining completion strategy for all new development wells in Malaysia. Manage and allocate resources for all HSE (5 years with zero LTIs), staff and budget functions related to Completion, Well testing, Production Technology and offline Interventions during an extensive new well/ workover program (3 rigs working) and manage optimisation options for existing well stock throughout the assets. Well stock includes black oil and dry gas wells with completions including dual, single, horizontals and monobore. Identify and introduce new and appropriate technologies to enhance production. Identify candidates for stimulation.

• Brunei Shell Petroleum ( Brunei) : SMART Field Engineer, Manage all issues related to the introduction of intelligent completions within BSP. Part of team responsible for first commercial use of Poroflex ESS. Also, developed completions with Weatherford ESS and conventional gravel pack designs. Real time gas lift optimisation and well monitoring. Develop competency and skills matrix for operators. Develop PI (OSI Software) process books for several process variables. Involved in V2V opportunity framing and challenge sessions.• Santos (Australia) : Senior Petroleum Engineer, Expro Group contract management for the Queensland and Northern Territories. HSE Focal point. Integration of Client / Company Safety Management systems. Incident investigation. Client/Company liaison. Well test and wireline program design, generation and scheduling. Service quality control. Well test analysis. Equipment and personnel management. Budget management.• Shell UK E&P : Technical limit evaluation for Northern Business Unit. • Coparex International : Lead engineer for subsea completion design including full tubing stress analysis (WELLCAT) and gas lift design (PROSPER).• Talisman UK : Lead Engineer on problem well evaluation including historical review of well operations and reservoir potential with risk based recommendations for future work.• Woodside (Australia) : Well Test package tender evaluation.• Talisman UK : Contract evaluation.

Field Engineer responsible for identifying candidates for workover and through tubing intervention. Preparation of programs and wellsite supervision. Prioritisation of resources for wax cutting, hot oiling, well testing and through tubing intervention. Project and service company contract management. Evaluate suitability of Russian equipment for re-use. Sucker rod and gas lift design.

Reporting to the OIM and responsible for offshore management of the Well Servicing contract. Ensure delivery of agreed objectives in a safe and cost effective manner. Program justification, initiation and approval. Gas lift optimisation through well modelling. Set up and maintain effective Well Integrity monitoring and maintenance systems. Part of platform emergency response team. Ensure compliance with BP statutory obligations in respect of incident reporting, accident investigation and risk assessment.

Working on monthly rota in Western Siberia to advise Purneftegas on the specification and purchase of equipment being bought using World Bank and European Bank loans. Work included preparation of workover programs and on-site supervision of workovers and completions, design of gas lift and ESP completions, tubing and casing design. Also involved in the specification of gas and pipeline monitoring facilities.
