Directly responsible for creating marketing and communication strategies to better allow the surrounding community and any external parties to understand who ARIS Solutions is, in addition to understanding our purpose, mission, and values. This includes marketing campaigns, initiatives or outreach. This position plays a critical role in the long term growth strategy of the organization by reading RFPs, researching possible avenues of growth, and maintaining external communications in the fiscal management and Medicaid spaces by coordinating with the COO, CFO and Director of Financial Management Services to outline possible opportunities.

After functioning as a Financial Management Services (FMS) provider for the State of VT Medicaid programs for 15 years, ARIS Solutions, In 2011, partnered with the Vermont Area Agencies on Aging (V4A) and the Vermont Veteran’s Administration as the FMS provider for the Veteran Directed Care (VDC) Program. ARIS Solutions has a dedicated team that serves as the FMS provider for the VDC Programs in Alaska, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Montana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. This program allows a Veteran to receive in-home supports while ARIS Solutions provides fiscal supports such as, employer enrollment, employee enrollment, payroll, a/p, VA billing, workers compensation insurance procurement, Federal and State tax filings, and Federal and State unemployment services for VDC.  Provide the Agency with customer service regarding consumers, home providers, and employees such as Case Managers and office personnel Respond professionally to requests for: information, vendor check requests and Rep Payee check requests, etc. Process Cash Receipts, post to A/R and reconcile A/R to the G/L. Perform daily, weekly, A/P duties, ie, enter invoices, print checks, mail  Post payroll interface entries to the G/L, reconcile payroll tax accounts and fringe benefit liability and expense accounts.  Record and maintain consumer files for SSI/SSA benefit receipts, activity includes scheduled payments, payments on demand, monitoring individual account balances reaching the $2,000 threshold and report same to the Case Manager, file reports with Agency & SSA as necessary.  Maintain file of current Home Provider contracts, Process Recurring Vouchers, checks & direct deposits, on the 1st and 15th of the month. Create and Maintain Consumers’ MSR (units of svs) data, generate monthly MSR file to State. Prepare Monthly F/S Audit Book for review by the Controller and CFO, and submit approved F/S electronically to the State of VT Compile End of Year Audit binder for the annual audit Provide support to office colleagues as needed
