MTN Programme Manager (Marshall Plan Programme (Security))Responsibilities/Contributions:As the Programme Manager for MTN Group I am responsible for organising and coordinating the different projects to achieve the overall Programme objectives and outcomes. I am responsible to provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers to ensure that the final delivery does not only promotes good project management practices and governance within the overall organisation but also that the programme delivers the desired security outcome to MTN GIS. I have had to show strong leadership abilities and use my experience in managing different team member of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. I have also been responsible to define and implement critical processes to ensure efficient delivery and management across different operating companies and countries.Main Responsibilities/Contributions:- Organize and monitor inter-connected projects.- Align and drive the implementation of defined strategies and objectives.- Coordinate cross-project activities.- Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.- Apply change, risk, and resource management.- Assume responsibility for the programme’s people and vendors.- Assess program performance against setup objectives and controls.- Resolve projects’ higher scope issues and budget requirements.- Prepare reports for CIO/CTIOs and well as EXCO and Risk Committee- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Project Online (including administration)

Role description: TelkomSA/OpenServe Senior Project Manager and Integration LeadResponsibilities/Contributions:- I was contracted by Tech Mahindra (via Falcorp) to assist with the integration and overall delivery of the Work Force Management Replacement project for OpenServe.- I was responsible to establish and lead the Integration Team provided by a 3rd Party Vendor. As part of my responsibilities, I had to assist with the Solution Requirements and Designs for the Business. I was involved with the tracking of the requirements delivery and relating it to the Contractual Agreements that were in place.- Reporting to the weekly Project Status meeting as well as the monthly Project Steerco was part of my responsibilities.- Despite the stringent delivery timelines, the project was delivered in time and according to high quality standards.- Combination of traditional waterfall and agile methods used to deliver the Project.

Responsibilities/Contributions:- I was responsible for the establishment, management, and coordination of the Programme of Projects. I started with the definition and implementation of the Programme Strategy, policy, and procedures.- I also engaged with the relevant Customers and Stakeholders to define a more efficient and effective way of delivery on the relevant contracts already in place.- I started with the definition of a SWAT Project delivery programme that could be offered as a Service.

Project Manager and Solution Integration Specialist within Integration- I joined the IT Integration team responsible for integration between all systems in Telkom. I was responsible for the implementation of a Quality management system which was compliant to IS09001. I had to assist with the gap analysis, definition of a list of procedures, standards, and templates. I was also involved in the development, reviewing, and approving the different procedures, standards, and templates.- I was initially the only Project Manager responsible for the scoping and implementation of all integration projects within Telkom using the developed Integration Platform. I received the following awards for some of the projects that were delivered: Telkom: Project Elliot (Fraud Management Solution) - Contribution Award, 2000 and Telkom: Leading Lights Award - Gold: Matix Replacement, 2004.- On multiple projects she fulfilled the role of Systems Integration lead which entailed the review of designs and resolution of issues such as error management, etc. She was the Systems Integrator for the Implementation of the Workforce Management System that Telkom implemented. She received the Telkom: Leading Lights Award - Gold: Workforce Management, 2007 for the solution delivered to the Business.- She managed & assisted with the implementation of 3 integration brokers/solutions (DataGate, BEA Weblogic and Tibco AMX) within Telkom. She also architected the approach to decommission of some of the brokers.- The implementation of the Enterprise ESB using Tibco AMX SG was done using the Agile approach and the teams used 3 reference projects to validate the implementation.- I was also involved in the integration that was required for the Telkom Mobile Solution. She participated in the review of the integration design and managed the BAU integration required for the Telkom mobile implementation.

- Manage the Information Services area that consisted of the library, configuration management and filing systems.- Responsible to compile and control the budget for this area.- Had to manage the main and branch libraries.- Selected, procured, implemented and maintained a new library and project document configuration systems.- Assisted with research for projects.- Responsible to identify, contract and manage external sources of information which could assist with required information for projects.- Managed and developed the library collection by selecting and acquiring books, standards, specifications, etc according to the needs and requirements of the company.- Implemented an archiving policy and destruction of outdated material.- Implemented a marketing strategy for the Information Services through various activities such as monthly induction program, etc.- Developed and maintained the numbering system for these project documentations.- Assisted with the development of the requirements and specification for the ATIO filing system.- Developed and maintained the procedures and standards used within the Information Services area. This formed part of the ATIO Quality Manager System (IS09001).
