Theresa is currently working as an ICU nurse at North York General Hospital. She is committed to compassionate and patient-centered care while using best practice knowledge and skills. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients' lives by building therapeutic relationships and engaging in effective patient education. She is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's 2021 Nursing program. In addition, Theresa has an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. She has a double major in Human Biology: Global Health and Criminology, and a minor in Psychology. She was involved in many extra-curricular activities on and off-campus such as involvement in the Human Biology Student's Union, Students Offering Support, the University of Toronto International Health Program, the St. Michael's College Student Union, and Mount Sinai Hospital. Theresa has a passion for global health and social justice. She loves travelling and has a plethora of experience working with and alongside many individuals that come from different background.
