Theresa Spence Email and Phone Number
I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor degree in Public Health and a minor in Global Studies. When I was a student at Liberty I have learned much about health and wellness; and I have grown to have a huge passion to serve others. Over the years I have acquired much knowledge of community and public health, completed projects, and presented information to increase health wellness at Liberty. I was actively involve in Eta Sigma Gamma and Liberty University Public Health Student Association. My involvement with these organizations has provided me with opportunities to actively reach out to the community. I hope to achieve inspirational awareness within public health and specifically working along women health. After obtaining my Bachelor degree, I started working at Alternative Paths Training School as a Program Facilitator. This is a different field compared to Public Health, but working in this field sparked an interest and passion to help students with special needs. I enjoyed working with my team as we collaborated to develop positive behavior reinforcement strategies and helping students reached their IEP goals and objectives. Through this career I attended George Mason University for my Graduate degree in Adapted Special Education, and I have enjoyed being a special education teacher as I teach and encourage my students to become expose to the general curriculum and develop life skills. Having been given the experience of working and volunteering at different professional settings I have acquired important skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication. During my professional career I have learned the importance of putting others first and striving to achieve things that I am passionate about. Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, and serving opportunities.
