Provide nursing education via personal consultation.Provide patient outreach via seminars twice a month.Collect and maintain data to comply with standards according to The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQUIP)Evaluate bariatric surgery questionnaires for acceptance into program.Refer patients to tertiary facility if they do not meet criteria and/or high risk.Monitor patient progress through program. Monitor post-op patients and refer to outpatient service if needed.

Receiving and prepping outpatients and inpatients for Bronchoscopies, sometimes under fluoroscopy. The procedure may include bronchial washes and biopsies, all with conscious sedation and monitoring of patient to achieve optimal outcome. Also part of the team that performs, Transesophageal echocardiogram procedures and cardioversions under conscious sedation and monitoring of patient . We also perform Dobutamine stress tests and deliver Definity contrast during echocardiograms and cardio versions as ordered by physicians.

Accepted position as resource coordinator in June of 2012.Coordination of daily assignments according to skill levels of staff, supervised and assisted staff as needed, assisted with counseling and evaluations. Assignment of incoming EMS. Responsible for flow of unit and continuous evaluation of process and needs.

Fast paced emergency department. Training of new graduates and new hires, relief charge. Care of patients across life span including all types of critical care including level one traumas, and STEMI'S, acute CVA's.

Managed med surg unit, responsible for discharge planning, patient meeting criteria, Interqual, arranging appropriate equipment needed for continued improvement of patient status, required to report to insurance compainies, arranged transports and transfers to other facilitilites for patients across life span.

Initially started in ER Observation Unit on night shift with 1:10 ratio. Did observation admission, training of new staff to unit. Eventually transfer to regular ER after observation unit closed. Care of patients across life span. Precepted new grads and new hires, relief charge.

Managed Medsurg unit, supervised RN's and LPN's, responsible for scheduling, payroll information. Responsible for evaluations, counseling.

Primary nursing unit, responsible for up to 12 patients on night shift, supervised LPN's, had chemo certification, peritoneal dialysis certification, vascular access certification.
