Theresa Lynette Brown is Senior Project Management professional, known for her ability to craft a strategic vision to achieve success and inspire others to work together toward common goals. As a catalyst for change, Theresa identified a need to remove the barriers that prevent black professionals from participating and advancing in the field of project management and founded the International Society of Black Project Managers, a non-profit organization focused on building a world in which black professionals pursue, participate, and advance in the field of project management unencumbered by societal inequalities.As a thought leader in career strategies, she identified a need to increase productivity in the marketplace by helping people identify their skillsets, ignite their passions, and then motivating them to pursue the career of their dreams. This concept helped her birth the book “Career on Fire: Your Blazin’ Roadmap to an Amazing Career”, which shares that every person can have a passion-led career with equal parts inspired action, empowered achievement, and equitable pay. When not being a beacon of light for those ready to take their lives to the next level through phenomenal career success, Theresa enjoys traveling to exotic places, exploring creative pursuits, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.Theresa is a Certified Coaching Professional (CPC), holds a Masters in Business Administration, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). She lives in Atlanta, GA with her three dogs --Nylah, Basil, and Sassy.
