As Senior Project Manager at Freeman, I work with our Growth organization to consolidate corporate divisions and enhance & align Enterprise systems like our 1,500-person Salesforce instance, Marketo, TSS, Workfront, and Profisee with new company-wide workflows to ensure that the Sales teams meet their goals, including doubling sales by 2025. Project Management tasks include the coordination of all teams and deliverables to align sprints, resources, assignments, demos, approvals, meetings, milestones, and tasks within budget and timing expectations. As IT Director, I led a team of 3 skilled contract and full- time IT professionals to provide streamlined technical support to 100+ employees in two office locations. I moved to become our part-time IT Director in order to preserve the existing IT team and the company finances during a period of financial crisis for the agency. I worked with a robust list of clients during my freelance IT career until I came back onboard full-time at Slack again.Included in the myriad of tasks and responsibilities: Moved office locations, negotiated contracts for phones, ISPs, printers, conferencing, email services and hosted services. I was accountable for all aspects of the Agency’s IT systems from hardware and software to training and budget recommendations. My duties ranged from end-users helpdesk assistance through systems planning, maintenance, upgrade, and implementation. I helped troubleshoot end-user issues while maintaining mission critical IT services including file servers, data archiving, upgrades and document infrastructure, ordered and maintained records on hardware, software, and all other IT related duties. Researched and recommended new technology, maintained annual IT budget per department, and organized accurate financial records. My main goal was to achieve and maintain 100% customer satisfaction from our end-user community in order to raise employee productivity, morale and retention.

Slack Barshinger was going through some tough financial times. In order to help alleviate their financial burdens, I agreed to move from full-time to "perma-lance" while still providing stellar tech support. I quickly added freelance IT clients until I had a full, not mention lucrative, roster. This arrangement worked out well, as I decided to start a family and raise my babies. The kids grew up, Slack Barshinger became Slack and Company, and they needed me back full-time. I carefully and professionally dropped my other clients (see my recommendations section) and focused on Slack since they were a great client. The reverse commute from Chicago out to Schaumburg was sucking the life out of me. I thought about moving to Schaumburg, but then I came to my senses. I found the most lovely agency right downtown -- Columbian Advertising. Columbian was privately owned by Mr. Bernie Miller Jr., a man's man and a WWII vet just like my Dad. The decision was made even easier since the office was located just off of Michigan Avenue. (Shopping!) Columbian was eventually sold to Interpublic Group of Companies and became Lowe Lintas Columbian.
