Secondary Science Teacher
CurrentI have held two different teaching positions for Fairfax County. The first position was teaching 7th grade Life Science; I taught this curriculum for 2 years. I currently teach high school chemistry and high school biology.• Completed the instructional design process including planning, developing, implementing, and assessing curriculum and learning goals• Differentiated class work, homework, and instruction for a diverse range of learners including English Language Learners, students with IEPs, as well as honors and advanced level students• Incorporated different methods of instructional delivery to ensure maximum student engagement • Designed and produced series of multimedia presentations • Collaborated with other teachers on creating unit plans with interdisciplinary lessons and summative assessments • Maintained detailed student records to be communicated with parents and school personnel
