About Therese Poon
I have been studying/practicing Chinese Medicine since I was 17 years old and now have over 23 years experience in the field of Chinese Medicine, Qigong, Chinese Tea and Yang Sheng (nutrition & healthy lifestyle advice). Since returning to Australia, I have slowly built my practice, Balance Point Acupuncture and now operate from 2 clinics, in Melbourne and Rowville.Aside from my passion for health, wellbeing and Chinese medicine, I also work as an NDIS Pathfinder for Hireup, a disability support platform helping people with disabilities find and book the support worker of their choice. This new role is one that I cherish as we support people to understand and navigate the NDIS and broader disability ecosystem. This aims to empower them to gain more knowledge, confidence, and capacity to develop and use their NDIS plan and pursue the good life they choose.
