About Therése Ressel
The beginning of my career was focused on testing and quality assurance. Working close with developers I learned the importance of early feedback. It grew into an interest for improving software development processes and I was first very engaged in how to form traditional testing into a new agile mindset when agile became the new thing around 2007. I held many talks and seminars on this topic. I eventually started to work more with leading development teams in general. I was part of a very interesting journey at Kambi, scaling our development organisation from 10 to 35 development teams and finding a framework that would help us communicate and stay agile as the organisation grew. Today I focus on building great teams and grow individuals. It is important for me to be involved and influence how we develop both our employees and systems.

As a tester at Kambi I was a member of a scrum team of 5-8 people. My job was to bring the aspect of testing to everything we did, sprint plannings, design discussions etc. And most importantly give early feedback to the developers. This was done by testing early and continuously within the sprint. Contributing to automate as much repetitive testing as possible and focus effort on manual exploratory testing where needed.
