I have worked as a nurse practitioner in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, for the past 20 years. I hold a B.S. in Nursing from Seattle University, a MSN in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University, am board certified family nurse practitioner, and have received a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington. As a parent of a young woman with a disability, my husband and I were inspired to create a place where our daughter could continue to learn, grow and remain engaged with her community. We founded Tavon Learning Center in 2003.
