Solas Financial is a Proprietary Trading, Investor and Trader Education Company with training facilities in Dublin and Cork. Solas provide courses ranging from introductory ½ day to intensive 4 month programmes. These include Active Trader Training, Active Investor Training and Investor Mentoring and Support Services. I was employed as an Account Manager with Cork based company, Hopkins Communications having been promoted from Account Executive in December 2008. Hopkins Communications is a full-suite public relations and advertising agency whose services also include: event management, marketing campaigns, promotional marketing, sponsorship management and in-house graphic design.

My main duties in the Communications Department ranged from liaising with the media (often as the first point of contact), compiling media statements and drafting news releases to organising events and ensuring the correct event protocols were followed.
