Sales Rep, then Intl. Sales Manager, I was responsible for sales and marketing on 5 continents in the computer peripherals industry and won several sales competitions. Aside from also providing customer support and technical support, I worked with international publishers for advertising purposes and participated in trade shows in Hanover Germany, Dubai UAE, Johannesburg South Africa, Sao Paulo Brazil, Mexico City Mexico, Toronto Canada, San Francisco & Boston MacWorld USA.IT / Web Services: In 1994 I co-founded what is now considered a portal for general aviation, designing websites for clients, hosting them, and marketing them online. In 2000, I commenced work at NASA Ames for the Web Services Group as Customer Relations, then was promoted to Web Services Manager. Our department was comprised of web/graphic designers, programmers, and systems administrators. Now I manage the business of a data center near Houston!Traditional/Alt./CAM Health Care: As a holistic practitioner, I worked in a pain clinic with a Doctor of Osteopathy, an Naturopathic Doctor and a Physicians Assistant, before starting my own clinic where we billed insurance for medical and auto accident claims. My clinic also housed synergistic alternative practitioners. My credentials were Holistic Health Practitioner (Board Cert.), Medical Myotherapist and Cert. Chiropractic Assistant.Nonprofit Management: In 2004 I launched a nonprofit in my deceased son's name to assist families of special needs children, which included family scholarships for evaluations, a parent support group and educational, legal and medical advocacy services. Efforts included hosting fundraising and educational events and conferences.And last but not least... I love Aviation. Dad was a pilot and had a Piper Tripacer. My husband was a pilot and had a Mooney M20. I trained right seat on GA aircraft, but have flown on commercial jets most of my life internationally. In 1995 I attended the EAA 50 year remembrance of WWII in Oshkosh WI. Love the smell of jet fuel in the morning... In 1993 I was signed off for skydiving/AFF.
