CurrentManage the Safe Drinking Water Program directly supervising the Permitting, Compliance and Enforcement Programs and assist the Limited Use Program. Responsible for implementation and training of Chapter Rules 62-550, 555, 560, 532, 602, 699 Florida Administrative Code and Federal Regulations Adopted by Reference 40 CFR 141, Subpart I, 40 CFR 141 Subpart L, 40 CFR 141 Subpart O. Wrote an instruction manual and SOP's for the compliance inspectors and SOP's for the enforcement position. Responsible for developing education classes and training modules for the water system owners and operators. Developed training modules for staff on beginning training and continuing educational training on programs rules and personal development. Have developed, in conjunction with the Learning & Development Office yearly Intact Workgroup trainings for staff. Provide quarterly training in the form of videos on customer service and communication to staff. Develop yearly strategic goals and benchmarks for compliance and enforcement staff, along with 3 and 5 year goal timelines. Implemented paperless intiative fiscal year 2008-09 which has involved emailing all correspondence to owners and operators, staff emails letters and inspections to supervisor for review, double sided copying of all documents, implementing tablets for inspection staff and storing records in an electronic data system. Supervisory duties include, conducting quarterly field QA inspections with staff, reviewing all correspondence, reports and enforcement documents of staff, continously evaulate and adjust work processes, provide monthly statistical reports on staff's performance, compliance rates and goals. Responsible for regulatory oversight of LT1 and LT2 Surface Water Rule and inspections of surface water treatment plants. Review cross connection control plans for large community water systems and permit clearance packages for water treatment plants.
