Therese is interested in increasing access to health in low and middle income countries by:-Developping partnerships between public and private stakeholders-Launching new initiatives through her large international network, international organizations, health leaders, businesses, NGOs, and media. She is currently focused on the elimination of cervical cancer, and is joining forces with other organizations to fulfill the millenium developpement goal of its elimination by 2030.The other focus she would like to develop is access to new technology in the fields of digital and mobile health, as an accelerator for the elimination of cervical cancer.Summary Prior to creating GHO, a Swiss based nonprofit NGO, she managed e-NewDeal in Geneva. Among other roles, she was the vice president and director of the European office of the Global Business Coalition from 2003-2008. Therese has 15 years of experience working on development issues. She managed the working group on HIV/AIDS for the French Council of Investors in Africa between 2001-2003. She also served as a consultant to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she was in charge of establishing guidelines regarding collaboration with the private sector.From 1998 to 2000, Therese worked for the World Health Organisation in Geneva as a Fellow of the Rockefeller Foundation to support the Tobacco Free Initiative, working with political decision-makers, civil society, and the media. Prior to that, she founded the magazine "Afrique Medicine et Santé".
