I knew how great IEA's products were, and I wanted to tell the world about our validated product performance and our on-time and defect free deliveries. I attended trade shows and stood with some of the industry's most influential consumers. We talked about challenges like the efficiency of large power generation engines and the dependability of off-highway equipment. There are a lot of variables that need to be considered for each application and I love working with the team to account for them.

Working in the field with my full-time peers, I was able to see how well IEA's product was holding-up. I'd work on new product installations, scheduled maintenance and checkups, and installed replacement parts when a unit was damaged. I even worked on a custom design to replace a unit produced by another company that was defective.

In manufacturing operations, I intimately learned about the proven processes and capabilities at IEA. I started in metal fabrication, working with our skilled craftsmen to cut, bend, form, and weld parts. Simultaneously, I also worked on the construction and validation of heat exchangers in our on-site calorimeter - a part I hold dear to my heart. After passing my quality inspection, I moved over to our in-house powder coat and wet paint departments. Another quality check, then on to assembly. This is where my position at IEA really started to take shape. Every part was carefully attended to as I was prepared for my final quality inspection.

The design engineering group is where I got my start at IEA on a design-to-order project. The experienced team really excels in both DTO and standard, factory-package configurations because they are always innovating with the customer in mind.
