Iβve advised on financial marketing with leading institutional investment professionals. Today, I operate and facilitate a private line of advanced financial services. A great guy, Aaron Rosenblum struggled with me to make this happen. He went on to study with Jeffrey Sachs at Columbia. For a time this was the fastest growing chapter in Surfrider. Influential, active, resourceful were its early characteristics. Drawing from NYC's extraordinary talent base individuals met and made rings happen: Opening a beach (Elena Kissel, our legal adv.) in Rockaway--police were TICKETING surfers! Networking with NY leadership including City Hall to develop sound ocean-careful plans. Addressing the chapter's role in the fall of the Trade Towers in 2001 (So. Af. photographer Grant Myrdal.) Sharing ideas with Surfrider National about the potential of a chapter led organization (they chose a centralized style, instead. But the org's work is 'muy importante', nonetheless.)Extraordinary times for some of the most extraordinary people I may ever meet.
