My name is Theron and I am very excited about the direction today's technology is taking us. From green technology to A.I., the tech being made today lays the seeds for tomorrow businesses and careers. To that end I feel that additive manufacturing and 3D printing is going to be one of the next big technologies; much like computers and cell phones were back in the 90s. I am therefore, actively pursuing either an apprenticeship or a certificate in machining; CNC and 3D printing in particular. My experience and education is geared towards small business management with an emphasis on communication and leadership skills. As a machine opperator, my job is to load blanks onto machine pallets, unload finished parts, and inspect said parts for any number defects or blemishes. The job requires acute attention to detail as misloading a part and not performing the full inspection can easily lead to loss of usable product and broken machinery.

    As of April, 2016 I became a team leader (shift lead) at Jack in the box. During my year and a half employment as a lead position, I was responsible for managing money, training/coaching employees, resolving escalated guest complaints, and leading a team of individuals towards a common goal. The experience has been of great value to me and was of great value to the company. The district manager knew me by name and I was considered for promotion to assistant manager. However, near the end of my employment, it became very clear that employment at Jack in the box would not work with my career goals, leading to me leaving the company.
