led all aspects for the provision of a full continuum of care for a dual-purpose sexual and domestic violence agency providing crisis intervention services, providing four 24-hour services to include: - phone line crisis support around the clock- an emergency shelter, and- two separate on-call rotations that responded to sexual assault disclosures in the community, and inside of the state's prison system. beyond these services, SafePlace offers a wide array of advocacy and case management support for individuals fleeing violence, and i served the county-wide community in working to expand the accessibility of these critical services, while maintaining the standard core services established in the first 36 years of the organization. responsibilities included cultural competency development; human resources management; grant writing; fundraising; large- and small-scale event planning; fiscal oversight; community relations; organizational development; change management; program assessment and design; policy and procedure creation & revision; direct service; crisis response; board governance; and professional development.

designed and implemented a promising practice program structure to support an intentional partnership with youth to build exceptional workplace readiness essential skills as they prepared to return to the community while surviving statewide prison institutions.established program model to align various stakeholders in systemically addressing experience and skill gaps in employability for youth inside of the industrial prison complex. supervised team of high-performing professional staff members, facilitating a co-built program culture with program core values, shared goals, performance management systems, and ongoing supervision for consistent personal and professional development. created expansive resource suites, allowing staff and students to have a comprehensive set of resources to navigate the challenge of building, developing, and maintaining a competitive edge in the workforce. effectively networked with colleagues across the state to include both service providers and government entities to share pertinent information, provide program updates, and develop best practices in sustainably effective ways. provided subject-matter expertise in youth development and program management to accurately develop program elements that work effectively with youth inside the statewide prison infrastructure.

worked to provide effective, informed and successful youth programs for a five-counties (grays harbor, lewis, mason, pacific, and thurston), covering a 7,000 square-mile service area.supervised AmeriCorps teams in providing direct services to youth, ages 16-24 in a wide variety of programs throughout the service area, supporting skill development in workforce readiness. created an intensive workplace readiness essential skills training curriculum to provide youth with the skills it takes to find success in the workforce, supporting long-term programmatic foundations for years to come. designed and implemented innovative programs and initiatives specifically for systemically marginalized and underserved youth to increase the accessibility of well-resourced supports for building brighter futures.supervised professional staff at a diverse level of skills and experience to deliver direct services, provide workforce development training support, and collaborate effectively with community-based service providers. identified resource development opportunities for the broad expansion of youth initiatives, increasing programmatic initiatives from one standalone program to ten thriving initiatives in two years increasing methods to serve youth in life-changing opportunities.

supervised the successful function of two federally funded grant programs to provide career development and educational training to at-risk youth, ages 16-24. provided direct service consultation, career coaching and resource connection services to community-based service providers, system partners throughout the state of washington, and youth advocates and mentors. facilitated curriculum development processes to increase effectiveness in employability skill attainment for program participants. provided drug and alcohol counseling in group and individual settings utilizing an evidence-based, harm reduction centered curriculum geared toward adolescent decision making. ensured performance and reported on outcome achievement per contract requirements, working to meet and exceed all federal performance measures including job placement and job retention. managed program, operations, and staffing budgets totaling $4.6 million. supervised team of 10+ providing professional development, compliance guidance and performance evaluation. served as liaison to internal and external partners and entities including, but not limited to: community service agencies, workforce development professionals, educational institutions, government and private funders, and legislators.

provided direct service consultation to assist youth who had disengaged from the traditional school setting, ages 17-20, providing resources and support on their path toward achieving educational and career goals. networked with local employers in a variety of agencies and businesses to assist participants in getting connected to potential work opportunities. facilitated group workshops and individual sessions to assist skill development in resume and cover letter writing, mock interviews and effective job searching. worked with participants to complete interest inventories to accurately assess interests and skills to identify respective career pathways that aligned with their passions and resource needs. assisted participants to get connections to resources in the community to meet emergent needs, supporting their capacity to focus on gaining meaningful employment.
