Oversee hardening and remediation efforts: Direct the work of CSIRT/SOC triaging security alerts to effectively mitigate risks. Advise leadership on status, containment, resolutions and final root cause analyses for critical security threats. • Completely rebuilt CSIRT from the ground up, including Incident Response plan development, playbook creation, development roadmap and vendor selection. • Drove selection and onboarding of 3rd party Security Operations Center (SOC), developed selection criteria, managed RPF process and final selection. Drove service on-boarding, technical integration and operating procedure creation. • Spearheaded training & development curriculum for security organization. Developed custom roadmaps for team members, selected high quality vendors for on-site training, created and delivered my own incident response class for my team and cross-functional partners, and arranged a private class for organization members new to information security.
