I joined Formlabs as an intern, working on a tiny team developing the Fuse 1. Over the course of the past 4 years I've played a wide range of roles, from designing the early Fuse 1 electrical systems and mechanical components to leading a team of integration engineers in building and upgrading the fleet of prototypes. Today I am the technical project manager for the Fuse 1 team. In this role I lead multidisciplinary technical teams from printer prototype design to factory hardware and software. I work with engineers from the mechanical, electrical, optical, software, industrial design and print process teams to define technical goals, prioritize work, create timelines and produce results that meet Formlabs' demanding standards.
