Hallo, I'm Shawn! I'm currently a junior at Rochester Institute of Technology, enrolled in Golisano College of Information Sciences for Game Design and Development (BS). Games, more than anything in my life, have drawn me in and shaped me into who I am today, beyond just my profession. I think you can see in my actions the games I've played, a love for challenge instilled by Dark Souls, a love for exploration and awe from BotW, and a love for Comic Sans from Undertale. In the way the games which have come before have given me experiences which I will never forget, I want to be apart of that a spread the joy even more, playing my part to create the experiences of tomorrow. My chosen love of the process would happen to be Technical Art, I've done a bit of everything, but the interplay of the technology and vision has really captured me as I have continued my studies at RIT. I have a lot of experience in Unreal Engine, especially from working as a Technical Artist in Changeling over the summer of 2024, where I did everything under the sun that is Technical Art, from Fragment Shaders, Optimization, 3D Modelling and Texturing, and authoring Materials across a range of software.I've learned a lot about game development and continue to be fascinated by it, and I am so happy to keep on going doing more and more.
