Dedicated transgender Latinx advocate, community organizer, speaker, and blogger who is deeply committed to advancing the rights and empowerment of marginalized communities, with a central focus on the transgender community. My journey into activism began in 2014 with the creation of my blog, "My Trans Life," as a means to share my experiences and insights. Over time, my advocacy efforts have embraced various forms, including lobbying and addressing vital issues such as housing and food insecurity.While my engagement with specific organizations has evolved, my advocacy continues to flourish. In 2020, I deliberately decided to step away from my roles with the Human Rights Campaign DFW Steering Committee and the Community Advisory Board for the Dallas Police Department. This choice was driven by my desire to serve the community more effectively. My focus is now on supporting trans-led organizations like House of Rebirth, Transgender Empowerment Coalition, and Nu Trans Movement Inc, all of which are actively making a difference on the ground.You might recognize me from interviews on Univision, Telemundo, CNN, CBC Radio, Futuro Media, and The Lily by the Washington Post. I've also had the privilege of contributing as a speaker and panelist at various events, including the Dallas Transgender Day of Visibility, Dallas Transgender Day of Remembrance, ONE Marriott Texas Coalition's 2019 LoneStar Round Up Inaugural Gala, 2019 Pride Night celebration, 2019 Lez Talk Women's Empowerment Conference, 2020 Creating Change Trans Institute, 2020 Latino Linq - EntreNos Conference, 2022 Broadway Dallas - Black Art Matters Panel, and 2023 Finn's Place LGBTQ Homelessness and Housing Issues Panel.

Independent healthcare contractor working with DOCS (Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions) and the U.S. Army doing SRP's (soldier readiness processing) for deployment or assisting with the soldier's necessary annual health checkup. At each event, the soldier's must go through many stations such as PHA (periodic health assessment), dental exams, laboratory services, visual acuity screening, audiometric exams, vital signs, provider visit, and many other stations. Typically, I am assigned to work in vital signs, vision, performing EKG's, labs, data entry into Medpros, and other administrative tasks.

In my role as a Clinical Allergy Specialist (CAS), I contributed to our allergy service organization by offering specialized allergy related diagnosis and management tools. I offered medications that were custom-designed antigen therapies to help patients become desensitized to many of the pollens and molds that cause illness.

Previously at The Nielsen Company, I was responsible for placing telephone calls to computer generated telephone numbers to enlist the household’s cooperation in a survey. The survey was then used to determine media ratings

Previously at the YMCA of Dallas, I was contracted to work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide information on diabetes prevention to patients who were at risk. We would visit public health screening events in the DFW Metroplex to provide prevention information, blood glucose testing, BMI screening and checking the patient's blood pressure.
