I served as an Infantryman in the United States Army for almost 21 years. I held many leadership roles from Team Leader to Platoon Sergeant. I also served in various training roles such as Drill Sergeant, Instructor, and New Equipment Tester where I was one of three Non-commissioned Officers responsible for implementing a major change in the Army's Basic Training Marksmanship Program. Lastly, I served as a Battalion Operations NCO and assisted with planning for the Army's largest training center Fort Jackson, SC. Responsible for equipment totaling up to $40,000,000.Part of my duties included compliance with:HIPAA while maintaining my subordinates PII and health records, PCI-DSS as my Battalion's credit card manager,and NIST as the unit Information Assurance Officer.
