About Stephen Ford
After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2010, I was promoted to the position of Veterinary Nurse from Kennel Technician at Aggieland Animal Health Center. I continued my work as a Veterinary Nurse at The Cat's Meow Veterinary Hospital, where I have become the primary surgical nurse. These positions have provided me with invaluable skills and an extraordinary knowledge of small animal health including zoonotic disease, internal medicine, behavior, welfare, dentistry, orthopedics, dermatology, acupuncture, and hospice medicine. These experiences also provided me opportunities to work with extraordinary skill professionals and develop valuable client and patient relationships. While working as a Veterinary Nurse I have utilized my previous technical computer skills maintaining and updating the computer systems and networks, laboratory equipment, hospital documents, and client resources. I hope to continue to develop my expertise as an animal care professional, as well as utilize my knowledge to aid people and animals.
