Cleveland Comedy Festival is a nonprofit that uses comedy to help raise awareness, support, and fundraise for other local nonprofits and began in 2008. As Executive Director, my role is to strategize and lead the growth of this organization from a once a year festival to live shows throughout the calendar year, multimedia content and production in the form of the Cleveland Comedy Network (featuring original podcasts and YouTube series), and more. My current goal includes growth from a strictly volunteer organization, to that with paid employees, so that we can better serve the Cleveland entertainment Arts community as well as supporting other local nonprofits with our productions.

Have been performing stand-up comedy since early 2009. Through experience have worked with comedians such as Dave Landau (Last Comic Standing), Jim Florentine (That Metal Show), Dustin Diamond (Saved By The Bell), Sarah Tiana (Roast Battle), Dolph Ziggler (WWE Superstar), and more. Beyond that, also became a member of the board of directors for the Cleveland Comedy Festival and produce shows throughout the year as well as the annual festival.Also created a late night variety show that I previously hosted, Up Late With Steve Guy, showcasing various entertainers in the Cleveland, OH area. Additionally, wrote and self-published (through MascotBooks) Memoirs of a Wingman, released in 2013.

Together the company was grown successfully to the point that it was purchased in 2014. Up Late With Steve Guy is a late night TV talk show that was created for the Cleveland, OH area. Shows are available online still via YouTube with 2 different short seasons. Two different pilot seasons met with mixed success, positive feedback from fans, but not enough financial backing to improve production to meet TV quality standards after offer to purchase airtime.The show was tailored locally with interviews of popular personalities in Cleveland and also contained showcasing local talent in music and comedy. Had been working as the bar manager and running shifts since June of 2006 and was promoted in October. Held the responsibilities of staffing, scheduling, training, food orders, equipment and supply orders, wine and liquor orders and oversaw the daily activities of the restaurant.
