About Tiffany Lemon, Ph.D.

With over 20 years in the beauty industry spanning across multiple functions and in the corporate arena, I have grown to embrace the nuances of change, my ability to support others in their career paths, and my voice as a change agent for underrepresented communities.Starting at Sony Music Corporation my sophomore year at Spelman College, where I was able to support the Urban Music Marketing Southeast Regional Team as a College Representative, I worked alongside emerging artists such as Beyonce, Jagged Edge, B2K, and Nas. That work resulted in a platinum record from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for my work on Nas’ Stillmatic album. I was determined to make my mark on an even larger scale and after graduation, decided to switch gears and enter the beauty industry. While different in ways from one another, many ideologies were similar. The industry shift was my most pivotal move as I was able to join L’Oreal USA with boots on the ground. I joined the organization as a management trainee and quickly gained recognition for my ability to assess where opportunities resided, synthesize the details that created the opportunities, create a strategy to overcome the opportunities, all towards building results-driven businesses. During my time as a management trainee, I returned to school to get my MBA from Regis University. This decision became a catalyst of growth supporting each of my roles to date within the L’Oreal Groupe. Each role that I have had within L’Oreal presented new challenges and learnings. I have been on small teams where I have had to be resourceful and big teams where I had to collaborate across company functions. I have developed commercial sales strategies, programs within the DE&I space, and am a 4-time President’s Club award winner. I have worked on all major prestige accounts and pivoted recently to build my knowledge in the consumer-packaged goods arena, given me insights to mass account management. Having managed cross-functional teams, I am able to lead key business decisions that support a full funnel commercial strategy, inclusive of the ever-evolving digital space.It is my goal to continue to drive results while also ensuring that the workplace culture is a safe-haven for psychological safety, work-life balance, and equity.
