As the Director of Global Public Relations at Compassion International, I oversee the media and public relations efforts for one of the largest and most respected non-profit organizations in the US. I have more than 17 years of experience in PR, media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.My mission is to build, defend, and promote the brand and reputation of Compassion International, and to support its vision of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. I lead the development and implementation of all public relations strategies, including media relations, crisis communications, executive social profiles, and communications support for 37 country offices. I also serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, handling sensitive and complex issues with the media and the public. I am passionate about telling the stories of the children and families we serve, and the impact of our work around the world.
