I formed my own company to consult with early-stage software companies, focusing on product messaging, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategies, and investor pitch materials (and sneaking in some operational suggestions along the way).

After 20+ years of helping build startup-ish tech companies, I took a break to recharge and focus on some personal pursuits. As I was about to pursue an exciting opportunity to help turn around a struggling tech company, our immediate family was struck by two back-to-back serious illnesses. My priorities shifted to serving my family during this period of restoration and recovery. I used the downtime to continue writing for my blog, pursuing certifications, and exploring technologies. Company culture continued to be a passion for me as it serves as the foundation for customer service excellence.

Too often rapid growth comes at the expense of existing customers, but this was not acceptable for us, nor in line with our strategy of developing long term loyalty. I led our engagements team and business operations in the same mission while serving existing and branching out to new customers: delight them. Delight them with clear proposals, crisp communication, excellent delivery, gentle reminders, friendly attitudes, and respect. We worked hard to debunk the negative stereotypes of outsourced development by following the gold standard of Ritz Carlton, "We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen." Our clients moved from being skeptical about outsourced development to raving fans. With the opportunity to hire talented individuals locally, we opened our US office. I oversee facilities, HR, and Account Management, expanding increasingly into the digital media space. Significantly contributed to 10X revenue and employee growth through new client acquisitions, development of customer success operations and mentoring leaders internally.

Was a key contributor in the primary group that moved Microsoft to open space and agile processes.
