Fosters a culture of philanthropy within the Komen Greater Nashville Affiliate. Assures that the organization’s corporate culture, systems and procedures support fund development and vice versa. Leads staff and volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy and fund development within the Greater Nashville Affiliate. Plans, coordinates and assures implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the organization. Assures development and maintenance of appropriate systems to fund development including but not limited to volunteer and donor management, research and cultivation, gift processing and recognition. Maintains accountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources.

Responsibilities include managing the day to day operations of all marketing and promotional aspects of Y98; including budgets, event management, and sales collaboration. Some key aspects to this position include: creating partnerships with local non-profit organizations to create promotional opportunities, writing promotional copy and scripts, POP promotions with retailers and management of staff. Worked hand in hand with sales department to present and close sales opportunities with clients.• Planning and Execution of over 200 promotional elements and events in a year• Managing events such as: Cardinals Opening Day Rally, Y98 Mega Wedding, Studio 98 and the $10,000 Holiday Shopping Spree

Responsibilities included reporting directly to the company President, managing the day-to-day operations of this $2.5 million dollar company. Day-to-day functions included: payroll, benefits, finances, AP/AR, scheduling staff and event set up. Managed CEO’s schedule including meetings, preparing all sales presentations and acting as his liaison. Manage and delegated assignments to field personnel including a cast of 60, foremen and contractors. Focused market expansion within Las Vegas, additional cruise lines and creating an event space for local and regional events. Oversaw all production of outside marketing, merchandise and public relation plans for multiple projects. Additional responsibilities included the creation of promotional clothing line to support a Las Vegas show, created a full scale production video to pitch new shows, created a “brand” for each production and much more.
