Prioritizing work to the factory supervisor for marking, developing, cutting and assembling material/items. Ensuring all materials are ordered and delivered timeously for conversion. Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure productivity is maintained and best practices/methods are being used. Problem solving and review of all work with regard to delivery, quality and costs.Monitoring of all financial issues (Income, Expenditure and costs etc). Interpreting of all technical drawings, estimation of costing and timeframes based on Client's requirements. Sourcing of new projects both internally and externally. Project management of all current and future projects. Continuous client visits and liaison.

Drafting, Review, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution of various Contracts. Serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters. Act as contractual “middleman” between company employees & customers, ensure timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations. Provide recommendations on all standard and nonstandard contracts, and often negotiate directly with customer attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached. Maintain contractual records and documentation (receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents) for all projects.Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers/operational staff. Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies. Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures. Identify areas of recurrent pressure.Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements. Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies,, export controls etc. Compiling of payment certificates. Support Product Management to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions. Monitor competitive terms. Monitor customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions and contracting practices. Recommend changes. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.Handle on-going issues and change management. Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.). Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance. Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.

Sasolburg

Responsible for the entire production of spirally manufactured large diameter steel pipelines. From manufacture, quality, testing, to final release to customer. Duties include managing pipe production in pipes diameter ranging from 600mm – 2900mm. Quality systems, quality control, safety, staff issues, planning/scheduling, budget control, report writing and statistics and trends. Responsible for co-ordination, project management, planning, technical reports, documentation, management/administration, financial control.

Project Management of R120M civil construction project for Thabazimbi Local Munucipality as the main contractor, and managing two JV companies. Complete construction of a 5m/lpd, Waste Water Treatment Works. All aspects of project managing i.e (but not limited to) financials, construction programme, cost, time, quality

Overall management of Condition Assessment Section with regards to resource optimisation, budgeting, planning of proposed shutdowns in terms of interventions required, research and development with regards to new technology and best practices, labour relations, manage PCP structures. Condition Assessment of Randwater pipeline infrastructure in terms of pressure tests, flow tests before and after renovation and for planning department, calibration of pipelines after completion of pipeline. Field investigations of various pipelines, valves and appurtenant works – ranging in size from 250 mm diameter to 3000 mm diameter. Involvement with external consultants regarding specialised work i.e. Remote Thermal Imaging, Eddy current Testing, Quality and Aerial Photography. Also involved with interpretation, suggestions and way forward regarding test outcomes. Manage our own GIS data base and involved with GPS co’ordinate data capturing. Implementation of an integrated Sheq management system.
