Dawn received awards in the Non Rhyming poem category of the 72nd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition as well as the 76th Annual Competition, for new Plays Dawn received a monetary grant from the highly competitive bi-annual Regional Artist Grant; Arts and Science Council (ASC), Arts Partnership, Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC), Suntrust Foundation and received both funding support and a formal letter of support from Dr. Maya Angelou.
