Councillor’s Assistant responsible for the Councillor’s website, e-newsletters, advertising, newspaper columns, social networking, all communications and media materials, office budget and all administrative duties for the Councillor’s city hall office.

Responsible for fundraising, advocacy and public relations projects as well as the production of an annual anthology of children’s short stories and poems. Also maintained the organization’s website and prepared communications documents as needed including newsletters, media releases, award submissions, advocacy presentations, etc.

Junior Designer (Internship). Designed two books and a backlist catalogue during a six-week term. Also worked with the marketing and sales departments to create print and online marketing materials such as e-mail blasts, sales kits, and advertisements.

As a fundraising assistant with the Ottawa Public Library Foundation I worked to bring recognition to the Foundation and the need to raise funds for the Ottawa Public Library.

As a communications intern at the Ottawa Public Library I created a number of materials to communicate with both internal and external library clients.
